Peddi has already positioned itself as one of the most awaited films of 2026, led by global star Ram Charan, alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Since its announcement, the film has sparked massive excitement among fans and the industry. On Ram Charan's birthday, the makers unveiled a powerful glimpse titled Peddi Pehelwan, highlighting his striking transformation from a village cricketer to a fierce wrestler, easily one of the most remarkable transformations seen in recent times.
Adding to the celebrations, the makers have now released a special behind-the-scenes video capturing the grand birthday celebration on set. The clip shows Ram Charan being welcomed by the team onto a massive, specially decorated set, greeted by an ocean of cheering fans, followed by him cutting a cake alongside director Buchi Babu Sana, with several heartwarming moments from the celebration.

This comes just days after the superstar sustained a minor eye injury while filming an action sequence on set. He sustained a cut above his eye, which required stitches. Soon after undergoing a minor surgery, the actor was back on set.
The action-drama film's first single, Chikiri Chikiri, sparked massive buzz immediately upon release, with audiences embracing its fresh vibe and the signature musical brilliance of A. R. Rahman. The song struck a chord with listeners and has already crossed an impressive 200 million views across platforms, highlighting the growing excitement around the film's soundtrack.
Building on that momentum, the makers unveiled the second track, Rai Rai Raa Raa, an energetic number that quickly caught the internet's attention. The song has already crossed 52 million views on YouTube, further amplifying anticipation among fans for the film's release.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the titular role, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under his banner, Vriddhi Cinemas, and in collaboration with leading production house Mythri Movie Makers, the film is scheduled for a grand release on April 30, 2026.
