Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have long been rumoured to be dating. According to reports, they got engaged in October, after which a diamond ring was also spotted on the actress's finger. The couple is all set to tie the knot in February 2026 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Amid such claims, Rashmika has reacted to the reports in a recent interview.
Rashmika addressed the wedding buzz in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. When asked about her February 2026 wedding with Vijay, the actress stated, "I wouldn't like to confirm or deny the marriage. I will just say when it's to be spoken about, we shall."
To this, the actress said, "As much as we are actors, I want to cut off from work when I go home. At least 80 percent of the time, I don't. If something is bothering me, I go and ask for advice or help. At home, I want to cut off from work because you cannot be at work 24/7. Talking about work is still work. When I'm at work or in a meeting, I give my 100 percent, but when I'm at home, I'm at home. I'm that kind of person."
She also mentioned, "We are actors, and work doesn't leave us, but I know that with my mother, dad, or anyone in my family, I don't talk about work. I take my personal life extremely seriously. I've made it a thing; I don't want to talk about work."
The actors have been rumoured to be dating since they acted together in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). However, they have remained tight-lipped about it. In recent interviews, they indirectly praised each other. They have even dropped subtle hints about not being single; however, they refrained from naming their partners.
As per reports, Rashmika and Vijay got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in October this year. While the couple made no announcement or shared pictures, Vijay's team confirmed it to Hindustan Times. His team also confirmed that they will tie the knot in February 2026. Last month, a source told HT that Rashmika had already kicked off the preparations in full swing. She even travelled to Udaipur for a recce, exploring potential venues.
