After what is being hailed as one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are once again winning hearts with a deeply personal gesture. While their grand celebrations grabbed nationwide attention, it was a small, heartfelt moment that truly stood out. Turning a fan interaction into something unforgettable, Vijay went a step further by inviting a young admirer home for a meal.
In a video shared by the little fan, who goes by the Instagram handle @urs_luckythalli, she is seen visiting Vijay's home, where he picked her up and took her inside. Later, Rashmika, dressed in white, served her several laddoos and kissed her forehead. Vijay also joined in, serving her treats and kissing her. At the end, Vijay was seen picking up the fan again and talking to her.
Sharing the video, she wrote, "Reel to real. Meeting Vijay Deverakonda at his home was truly a wonderful and unforgettable moment for me and my family. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness, making us feel completely at ease."
After Vijay and Rashmika's February 28 wedding, a fan posted a video in early March, wondering why she wasn't invited. Responding to her, Vijay shared, "Come home, I'll cook for youùŠ your favourite food and sweets." The heartfelt reply, shared via his social media, instantly went viral. However, the actor kept his promise, and the adorable video is surely winning hearts.
Vijay and Rashmika tied the knot in an intimate yet beautiful ceremony on February 26 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Their three-day celebration was fondly referred to as "The Wedding of Virosh." While Rashmika made for a stunning bride in a rust-orange silk saree with a red and antique gold border by Anamika Khanna, Vijay exuded regal vibes in an ivory dhoti, along with a vermillion red angavastram.
After the wedding, the couple has been treating fans to pictures from their haldi, mehendi, and sangeet ceremonies. They even hosted a star-studded reception in Hyderabad on March 4, which was attended by bigwigs of the Telugu industry.
Work-wise, Vijay and Rashmika will soon be seen paired on screen in the period action drama Ranabaali.
