A Selfie that has Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in the same frame may have gone viral, but sources say there was an initial undercurrent of tension when the two actors came face to face on a reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded'. For the uninitiated, Saif is married to Kareena Kapoor Khan, who dated Shahid for four years before they called it quits.

A source says, "Saif and Katrina Kaif had come on the show to promote their next film, 'Phantom', and shoot for an Independence Day special episode. They were made to sit beside Shahid and his co-judge Karan Johar. But Shahid and Saif chose not to interact with each other and didn't exchange formal greetings either. In between the breaks too, they maintained distance."

Shahid, however, broke the ice when they performed on Saif's famous 'Ole Ole' track from 'Yeh Dillagi' (1994). "Saif was called on stage to shake a leg to 'Ole Ole' and Shahid commented that the song evokes nostalgia. He joined Saif and Katrina on the stage soon after. In another gig, the two of them were put in the same group for a brief cricket match. Shahid was enthusiastic while Saif seemed pretty uninterested. However, eventually they started interacting with one another," adds a source who was present on the set.

The duo then clicked a selfie with Kat with Karan Johar later posting the picture on his Instagram accounts with the caption: 'Jab They Met'.
