A discussion about Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola's personal life has sparked fresh controversy on social media. After Hina Khan, Rocky Jaiswal, Rubina Dilaik, and Abhinav Shukla discussed the couple's decision not to have children on The POV, Gaurav's friend and actor Anuj Sachdeva slammed their remarks, calling them insensitive.
Reacting to the discussion, Anuj wrote, "It must be exhausting for them, carrying around that much hatred in their heart where empathy was expected, while comparing someone's pet at home to a 'f'''ing furniture'! I feel sad for you all that you could not get your parents' love to understand that people get ATTACHED to the ones they LOVE."
"One almost pities the children growing up in such homes where compassion is dead. Clearly, commenting on Gaurav Khanna's personal life is the only way some of them can trend for five minutes before fading back into irrelevance. Sad."
During the interaction, Hina Khan pointed out that Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola continued to maintain the image of a perfect couple on Bigg Boss and on social media despite living separately for almost a year. Agreeing with her, Rubina added, "If you are living separately, then your public appearances as husband and wife are just a facade."
As the conversation shifted to Akanksha's comparison of raising a pet and raising a child, Rocky said, "I can love a f'''ing furniture, I don't care. Attachment is a separate thing."
As she entered Lock Upp 2, Akanksha announced that she and Gaurav had been living separately for the past year. She revealed, "Gaurav Khanna and I are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the past one year. People don't know about this yet. This is a decision we have both taken. We have been talking about it for the past one year."
After confirming their separation, Akanksha revealed that their differing views on parenthood ultimately led to the difficult decision. According to the actress, Gaurav initially accepted her decision to remain child-free. However, things changed as the years passed.
Later, Akanksha made another shocking revelation, sharing that she is bisexual. She also admitted to having been in relationships with women before getting married to Gaurav.
