Bigg Boss Marathi winner Shiv Thakare has emerged as one of the most popular celebrities, with his inspiring story of struggle well-known among fans. After years of hard work, the actor finally managed to buy an apartment in Mumbai. However, he recently faced a frightening ordeal after a fire broke out in his home, prompting immediate action and concern among his followers.
According to reports, the Bigg Boss 16 contestant encountered a mishap this morning when a fire broke out at his Mumbai residence in the Kolte Patil Verve building. While the actor did not suffer any injuries, his house bore the brunt of the damage. In videos circulating online, significant property damage can be seen, with the fire brigade carrying out an investigation.
Shiv Thakare was not in Mumbai at the time of the incident and had only returned to the city last night. Sharing a picture from the airport on Instagram, he wrote, "Back to Mumbai."
Shiv had announced the purchase of his Mumbai apartment during his stint on a dance reality show. He had shared, "People say that it takes a lifetime to buy a house in Mumbai, but I am happily sharing with my Jhalak family that I have bought a new house." Celebrating the moment, Judge Farah Khan performed a puja and gifted him a Lord Ganesha idol.
Coming from a modest town in Maharashtra, Shiv has carved a niche for himself in the Indian entertainment industry. After gaining attention on Roadies and winning Bigg Boss Marathi, he went on to participate in the Hindi version of Bigg Boss. Shiv is also known for his stints in Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
He was recently seen in the music video Rajj Rajj Nachan, sung by Divya Kumar, Ishika Hirve, and Sikandar Maan, and co-starring Rashami Desai.
Beyond his professional journey, Shiv's relationship status has often sparked curiosity among fans. Addressing rumours, he said, "Even if I end up forming a bond with someone and I genuinely like them, I'd still prefer to keep it private."
