The Bigg Boss house could soon have a new voice of the digital world. YouTuber and content creator Nitish Rajput is reportedly among the names being considered for Bigg Boss 20. While there is no official confirmation yet, the buzz around his possible entry has already got fans curious.

Who is Nitish Rajput?

Nitish Rajput is an Indian YouTuber and researcher known for his long-form, research-driven videos on current affairs, social issues, governance, history and other topics that spark public debate. Born in Uttar Pradesh, he completed his schooling in Rudrapur before earning an engineering degree from Gautam Buddha University. Rajput began his professional career at an IT company in 2013 but left his 9-to-5 job in 2020 to pursue content creation. His YouTube channel quickly gained traction, crossing 3.5 million subscribers in a short span. Today, with over 8 million subscribers, he is among India's prominent Hindi-language research and information creators.

And that is precisely what could make his reported Bigg Boss stint interesting. Rajput is used to expressing his views from behind the camera. Inside the Bigg Boss house, there will be nowhere to hide with cameras following contestants round the clock, tasks testing their patience and housemates often pushing each other into confrontations.

Nitish Rajput's controversies

Rajput has also found himself in the middle of controversy over his content. Eduquity Technologies, which conducts examinations for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), filed a Rs 2.5 crore defamation suit against him over a video concerning the examination system. The company alleged that the video contained false claims and damaged its reputation. Rajput has denied the allegations. The legal dispute remains a matter of competing claims and does not amount to a finding against the YouTuber. In one of the tweet, he even mentioned that his YouTube channel was banned in Pakistan.

His reported entry also reflects how Bigg Boss continues to widen its pool of contestants, bringing digital creators into the same house as television and film personalities. With influencers and YouTubers commanding massive online communities, their participation often adds another layer of conversation around the show.

Bigg Boss 20, hosted by Salman Khan, is set to premiere on September 6. For now, Rajput's name remains part of the rumour mill, and viewers will have to wait for the official line-up to know if the YouTuber is really ready to trade his YouTube studio for the Bigg Boss house.
