Bigg Boss 20 contestant Yung DSA has found himself at the centre of an online discussion after an old video of the rapper speaking fluent English surfaced on social media. While Yung has largely been seen using raw, casual Hindi and his distinctive style of speech inside the house, the resurfaced clip has left some viewers questioning whether he is presenting a different side of himself on the reality show.

Yung DSA's old video goes viral amid copying MC Stan Controversy

Yung DSA, whose real name is Harsh Vijay Machare, entered the Salman Khan-hosted show as a rapper from Pune. His unfiltered personality, local slang and straightforward manner of speaking have quickly made him one of the contestants attracting attention. His communication style has also drawn comparisons with Bigg Boss 16 winner and rapper MC Stan, although Yung has maintained his own identity.

The latest discussion began after videos from his pre-Bigg Boss days showed him speaking English fluently. The contrast with his conversations inside the house prompted some social media users to wonder whether his on-screen personality is being deliberately played up for the show.

Netizens call out Yung DSA's act

Some netizens questioned if Yung was "faking it" on Bigg Boss 20, while others pointed out that being comfortable in Hindi does not mean someone cannot speak English. His supporters argued that contestants can naturally use different languages depending on their surroundings and the people they are interacting with.

The debate comes at a time when Yung's behaviour and communication style have already become a talking point among viewers. His accent, slang and quick responses have been noticed during several interactions, with some fans finding his unfiltered manner entertaining.

Yung has also been involved in his share of confrontations inside the house. Earlier, he had a heated exchange with Qazi Touqeer after the singer mimicked his way of speaking. The argument escalated, with Yung telling Qazi, "Bhai mat ban," while Qazi hit back, "Baap pe mat jaa."

Yung also became the first captain of Bigg Boss 20 after defeating Kushal Tanwar and Aasif Khan in the captaincy task, further establishing his presence early in the season.

As the viral English clip continues to circulate, viewers remain divided over whether it reveals another side of Yung DSA or simply shows his ability to switch between languages.
