Television actress Dipika Kakar has shared an emotional update on her ongoing health battle, revealing details about her immunotherapy treatment and the personal challenges that come with it. The actress, who is currently undergoing treatment after doctors detected a cyst in her liver, opened up about her journey in a recent vlog, thanking fans for their constant support and prayers.

Expressing gratitude to well-wishers, Dipika said that the last few days had been extremely difficult for her family. Alongside her own treatment, the family has also been dealing with the hospitalization of her father-in-law. Sharing a positive update, she revealed that his condition has been improving steadily, which has brought a sense of relief to everyone at home.

Talking about her treatment, Dipika revealed that her immunotherapy sessions have officially begun under the supervision of oncologist Dr. Seventi Limaye at HN Reliance Hospital. She shared that she recently underwent a double immunotherapy session and that future treatments will continue through intravenous (IV) therapy. Despite concerns surrounding the procedure, the actress said she has not experienced any major side effects so far.

On missing time with Ruhaan

"Many of you already know that my immunotherapy has started," Dipika said, adding that while the medicines are strong, the side effects have remained manageable. She explained that she experienced back pain and a mild fever after one session, but doctors later determined that it was likely due to a minor viral infection rather than a reaction to the treatment. "Thankfully, all the reports came back normal, and there were no major concerns," she shared.

Beyond the physical challenges, Dipika admitted that the emotional toll has been equally difficult. She expressed sadness about not being able to care for her father-in-law the way she normally would and spoke about missing precious moments with her son, Ruhaan. The actress revealed that being away from him has been particularly hard, especially because he misses their special Friday ice cream outings together.

Despite the challenges, Dipika remains hopeful and grateful, drawing strength from the love and encouragement she continues to receive from her fans and family.
