Eisha Singh may play the ideal bahu, a widow or an autistic lawyer onscreen, but off camera, she is happy to embrace her "clumsy" side. After wrapping up Juhi Mui, a show she is particularly proud of, the actor has swapped the emotional drama for some light-hearted fun with Indian Game Show.
"The shoot of Juhi Mui was wrapped up a month ago. It was always meant to be a finite show. It was not easy to play an autistic woman. But that's one of the projects I'm proud to have done and of how I pulled it off," shares Singh of the 85-episode show. "[After the show], I had time, so I thought, why not do something fun? And the Indian Game Show is light, nice, and fun. It's like playing in an amusement park with your friends."
The actor, who also appeared on Bigg Boss 18 and Laughter Chefs Season 3, enjoys reality shows because "there's no script". They also allow her to reveal a side of herself that differs from her on-screen personas. Asked how she handles embarrassing herself on national television, Singh says, "I am human, and I've embarrassed myself 50 times a day. I did a show [Bigg Boss], where people watched me for four months. There were good, bad, and ugly moments. As actors we are expected to look and behave perfectly all the time, but it's high time to show that we are only human. I have my flaws, and I have my embarrassing moments. And people who know me know how clumsy I am. I don't want to be perfect. I'm a human, and I'm flawed. I think people should watch it because it's relatable and a lot of fun."

The age at which Eisha Singh started her acting career
While Eisha Singh hopes to start her own production house one day, she is currently focused on exploring varied roles. She made her film debut with âMiddle Class Love' (2022), directed by Ratnaa Sinha, wife of filmmaker and producer Anubhav Sinha. "We did a lot of auditions and it just worked out. âObsess' was the only dark, thriller [in my career]. I like to do anything that challenges me. Comedy is again something I've not explored"
