Ganesh Chaturthi special: TV celebs pick their favourite Ganpati song

Karan Sharma
TV show: 'Mohi'

"When I was a kid, I used to dance on 'Murti Ganesh Ki Andar Daulat Desh Ki' along with my friends. Apart from this,'Sadda Dil Vi Tu' from 'ABCD' is very peppy. It's a foot-tapping number and its groovy beats make it my favourite."

Sahil Anand
TV show: 'Roshni'

"I find 'Morya Re' from Shah Rukh Khan's 'Don: The Chase Begins' very energetic. This song perfectly showcases the magnificent Ganesh Utsav in all its pomp."

Namish Taneja
TV show: 'Swaragini'

"'Deva Shree Ganesha' from 'Agneepath' is one of my favourite Ganpati songs. It's very beautifully sung by Ajay Gogavale. The grand chorus, intense vocals and the repetitive chants at the end of the song always put me in a trance. I think, this song perfectly fits the fervour associated with Ganesh Utsav."

Heena Parmar
TV show: 'Maharana Pratap'

"I like to listen to 'Sindoor Laal Chaddhayo' from Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Vaastav', which was composed by Jatin-Lalit and sung by Ravindra Sathe. I find it very addictive and inspirational."

Aasiya Kazi
TV show: 'Balika Vadhu'

"Hrithik Roshan starrer Agneepath's song 'Deva Shree Ganesha' is my favourite Ganpati Song. It's a must play at each and every pandal. It guarantees the devotional high, probably that's why it has become the new age Ganpati anthem."

Ravi Bhatia
TV show: 'Jodha Akbar'

"The iconic song 'Deva Ho Deva Ganpati Deva' sung by music legends Mohammad Rafi, Asha Bhosle, Shailendra Singh and Bhupinder is one of my favourite Ganpati songs. When you hear this song, it is sure to get you moving to the beats in praise of Lord Ganpati."
