Television actors Hunar Hali and Mayank Gandhi have officially ended their marriage after nine years of marital bliss. The couple, who filed for divorce in September 2025, was granted a divorce on June 9, 2026, bringing their long-running legal proceedings to a close.
According to a report by The Times Of India, Hunar was filming for her show, Rimjhim - Choti Umar Bada Safa, when the court finalised her divorce. A source close to the actor told the portal that she was in the middle of a scene when the divorce proceedings concluded and that she only learned about the court's decision after checking messages from her legal team during a break.
A source told the publication, "Hunar was in the middle of a scene when the court proceedings concluded. Since she was shooting, she couldn't immediately check her phone. The moment the director called 'cut', she looked at the messages from her legal team informing her that the divorce decree had been granted. She was overwhelmed with emotion. When she read the message, she broke down in tears on set. Everyone around her understood what the day meant for her."
The development was further reportedly confirmed by Hunar Hali's lawyer, Rugved More, who shared, "Yes, the divorce proceedings have now been formally concluded. Today, the Hon'ble Family Court allowed Ms Hunar Hali's petition and brought the matter to a legal close."
The advocate added, "As is often the case in matrimonial disputes, there were certain issues relating to the divorce settlement that required resolution before the matter could be finalised." The report stated that, after long discussions with legal experts, the couple arrived at an amicable resolution, after which the court granted the divorce and concluded the legal proceedings.
Hunar and Mayank tied the knot in a gurdwara ceremony on August 28, 2019. The marriage was an arranged match, wherein the two were reportedly introduced by their respective families.
Hunar Hali is best known for starring in television shows such as Patiala Babes, Ek Boond Ishq and Chhal - Sheh Aur Maat. Meanwhile, Mayank Gandhi came into the spotlight after winning MTV Splitsvilla 7 and later went on to appear in shows including Kaala Teeka and Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi.
The couple filed for divorce in September 2025. With the court's order dated June 9, the divorce proceedings have now formally come to an end.
