Kavita Kaushik shares a video of rescuing her pet dog from almost drowning in a waterfall

TV actor Kavita Kaushik recently shared a fond memory with her pet dog Raaka from a recent trip to a waterfall with her husband, Ronnit Biswas. Their happy and joyous trip soon turned into a horrific one after her dog landed in the middle of strong currents of water. Nevertheless, the actress stepped into the dangerous waters to save her pet from drowning.

The actress took to Instagram to wish her husband, Ronnit Biswas, on his birthday with a terrifying video. Her dog allegedly chased another dog into some strong currents. After her dog got stuck in the water, she had to wade in to save it from drowning. Sharing the video on Instagram, she wrote, "Happy birthday @justronnit, just a reminder that there will always be adventure! Thanks for being born and being ours. P.S.- Not me shouting 'video bana lo shayad mera akhri ho' (make a video, it might be my last) in a dire situation."

In the video, Kavita and her husband, Ronnit, are seen relaxing by the waterfall and posing for pictures as their pet goes into the water to chase another dog. Unfortunately, both dogs are caught in a strong current and are almost pulled away. Kavita can be heard screaming for Raaka to come back to them. After a while, she steps into the water and rescues him.

One person opined that the video was, "A short film with drama, action, glamour and a dog sentiment." On the other hand, others questioned her decision to take her pet along to the waterfall during the rains. Some were concerned about the other dog as they wrote, "Mam what about the other dog? Is he safe? I'm just concerned as i am also a doglover," while another wrote, "What about the other dog, where is it?"

Kavita later addressed it, expressing her gratitude to Mahadev for saving them. The actress shared that they couldn't find the other dog, sadly. Kavita rose to fame with TV shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, and C.I.D. However, last year she announced that she was quitting her acting career.
