The latest season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, which was originally scheduled to premiere on July 25, 2026, has now been postponed. The makers of Rohit Shetty's stunt-based reality show shared an updated release date on social media, indicating that the show has been delayed by a week. Notably, this comes amid the ongoing TRP blackout, leaving fans wondering about its new release date.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 postponed

Earlier, the makers had announced the release date of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 along with a new promo featuring the contestants. "Har taraf goonjega Khatre ka shor, aa gaya hai Darr Ka Naya Daur! Dekhiye KhatronKeKhiladi15, 25th July se, har Sat-Sun raat 9 baje, sirf Colors aur Jiohotstar par. KhatronKeKhiladi KKK KKK15," they wrote.

On July 8, the makers took to social media to share a new release date, which has been pushed ahead by a week. Rohit Shetty-hosted Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 will now premiere on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Announcing the new release date, the makers dropped a fresh promo on social media and wrote, "Lagegi jaan ki baazi, kyunki shuru ho raha hai darr ka naya daur! Dekhiye KhatronKeKhiladi15, 1st August se, har Sat-Sun raat 9 baje, sirf Colors aur Jio Hotstar par."

According to Free Press Journal, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has been postponed because of the ongoing TRP blackout.

What is TRP blackout?

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) recently asked the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) to temporarily suspend the publication of television ratings until it secured a renewed licence and complied with the new Television Ratings Policy, 2026, leading to the current TRP blackout.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is hosted by Rohit Shetty. This season features a star-studded lineup of contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Rubina Dilaik, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Avinash Mishra, Jasmin Bhasin, Harsh Gujral, Vishal Aditya Singh, Avika Gor, Shagun Sharma, Farrhana Bhat, and social media star Orry (Orhan Awatramani).

Notably, the upcoming season also marks the return of several former Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants, which indicates a mix of experienced players and fresh challengers. Despite the delay in release, the excitement around the upcoming season is high about the fans.
