Mumbai's relentless rains have disrupted daily life across the city, and actress Ashnoor Kaur wasn't spared either. The Bigg Boss 19 contestant shared a video showing rainwater entering her apartment and flooding parts of the living area, giving fans a glimpse of the chaos caused. The incident comes months after she gave fans a glimpse of her plush house. While some netizens called it a publicity stunt, others understood her ordeal.
Ashnoor Kaur gave fans a glimpse of the havoc caused by Mumbai's heavy rainfall after rainwater entered parts of her home, creating flood-like conditions.
Taking to her social media account, the actress shared a video showing water flooding her balcony and spilling into the living room and other parts of the house. Sharing the clip, Ashnoor wrote, "Need to leave for an event and this is what has happened at home," along with eye-roll and facepalm emojis.
In the video, water can be seen spread across the floor near the balcony and entering the living area. Members of the housing staff are seen using wipers and cleaning tools to push the water out.
A large carpet had also been rolled up to protect it from the water. Ashnoor further added, "May all the 'nazar' on me turn into happiness, success, and growth."
A few months ago, filmmaker Farah Khan had visited the actress for a special segment. During the visit, Ashnoor revealed that she had bought the 3.5 BHK apartment when she was just 19 years old and that it was reportedly valued at around Rs 4 crore. The vlog gave a glimpse of the house, which was equipped with smart technology.
Some netizens trolled her and claimed that she was doing it for publicity. However, many X users came to her defence. Reacting to the video, one netizen tweeted, "She lives on the 40th floor and yes, water can come in with strong winds. The balcony may have flooded with rainwater, and then that water could have come inside. Has happened with me on the 5th floor. She does not need this kind of publicity, so she is not faking it."
Another X user wrote, "It happens when the drainage pipe gets blocked and water starts accumulating on the balcony. Through the balcony, it enters the room and eventually the whole house. Happened with me in the past, and I live on the second floor (sic)."
One netizen tweeted, "Just for fake publicity, log kuch bhi crying karte hain!! Kal ko bathroom ka tap band nahin kiya, bathroom se paani overflow hua toh bhi reels and videos banenge (sic)."
