Actor Parag Tyagi has finally reacted to the rumours surrounding the sudden death of his wife, actress and model Shefali Jariwala. Speaking publicly after months of silence, Parag dismissed viral social media claims suggesting that Shefali died because of anti-ageing injections or extreme dieting habits. He urged people to stop spreading misinformation and respect her memory.

Addressing the rumours, Parag said there was no truth to the claims that Shefali relied on injections to look younger. He questioned the bizarre theories circulating online and sarcastically remarked that if such injections truly existed, everyone would be using them. He also clarified that both he and Shefali enjoyed regular meals and never followed unhealthy starvation diets. According to him, Shefali was at her fittest during the final phase of her life and took great care of her health.

Parag further shared that the couple had even eaten Chinese food a day before her passing, dismissing reports that she had been surviving on restrictive diets. He explained that there was no reason for Shefali to pursue artificial methods to maintain her appearance, adding that she was naturally beautiful and health conscious. He appealed to fans and internet users not to create false narratives around her death.

Opening up emotionally about the loss, Parag admitted that coming to terms with Shefali's death has been extremely difficult. However, he said he now believes her passing was destined and feels spiritually connected to her even after her demise. He added that while their time together physically may have ended, their bond remains eternal.

Parag also spoke about the emotional support he has received from their pet dog Simba during this difficult period. He said Simba's presence has helped him cope with the grief, though he never viewed the pet merely as a source of healing.

Shefali Jariwala, popularly known as the "Kaanta Laga girl," passed away in Mumbai on June 27, 2025, reportedly after suffering a cardiac arrest. Her sudden death shocked the entertainment industry and sparked widespread speculation online.
