Shiny Doshi
Actor Shiny Doshi, who was last seen winning audience appreciation for her performance in Pandya Store, has joined the player lineup of the upcoming reality show The 50. The globally popular format, owned by Banijay, is set to make its Indian debut on JioHotstar and Colors, bringing together a diverse mix of celebrities and creators in a strategy-led competition.
Shiny has built a steady career in OTT and a strong body of work across long-form storytelling, with performances that have helped her connect deeply with audiences. Her return to a reality format with The 50 marks a shift from scripted narratives to an unscripted environment, where personality, instinct, and decision-making take centre stage.
Talking about what drew her to the show, Shiny said, "Returning to television after three years feels incredibly special, especially with a show like The 50. I've always believed that listening, observing and choosing wisely can be just as powerful as strength or speed, and that's exactly what this show celebrates. The 50 is unlike anything I've done before, unpredictable, intense and a whole new ballgame. For me, it's about staying aware, trusting my instincts, and letting every moment guide me naturally through the game."
Earlier, Faisu, Diyva Agarwal, Karan Patel, Monalisa and Vikram confirmed. While sharing their excitement Monalisa said, "The 50 is a fresh and exciting experience for me. This time, it's about being real, not playing a role. From getting married on Bigg Boss to growing stronger together, my journey has shaped who I am today. Stepping into this show on our wedding anniversary makes it even more meaningful. I'm ready to challenge myself and give the audience something honest."
Vikrant Singh Rajpoot added, "The 50 is more than a reality show it's about real choices and real strength. Life with Monalisa, from Bigg Boss to today, has taught me patience and trust. With her support, I'm entering this journey focused and true to myself. This experience is about growth and staying real."
The show is set to have major twists and turns with 50 contestants locked in one house.
