Armaan Malik and Amaal Mallik are sons of music director Daboo Malik and Jyoti Malik. Despite hailing from renowned family, the Malik brothers have carved a niche for themselves in the music industry.

Some of their hit numbers include Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Bol Do Na Zara, Hua Hain Aaj Pehli Baar, Sooraj Duba hai yaaron among many others. While Amaal primarily composes songs, Armaan is known for singing skills.

The brothers recently left everyone emotional after Amaal was seen breaking down and becoming inconsolable after his brother and singer Armaan Mallik entered the BB 19 house. Amaal, who was in a stationary position as ordered by Bigg Boss, had tears rolling down his cheeks as Armaan came and sat next to him.

Amaal asked Armaan about their father’s reaction during his visit, wondering if he was emotional or upset. Armaan assured him, “No, he’s fine and chill." Amaal then apologised for speaking so openly about their family inside the house.

Armaan and Amaal had an open brother-to-brother talk during which, the former stated that he did not appreciate Tanya’s tale about him, labelling it “anti-Armaan" and advised Amaal to stay away from her.

Before entering the show, Amaal was in limelight after he shared a post stating he is suffering from clinical depression and blamed his parents for strained equation with brother Armaan.

He mentioned, “The journey has been terrific for both of us but the actions of my parents have been the reason we as brothers have gone too far from one another and all of this has made me step in for myself as it has left a very deep scar across my heart."

During a chat with Zeishan Quadri, Amaal revealed why he posted such a note and admitted, "I was going through an identity crisis. I was making all the songs, but no one was asking about me."

Talking about their equation after the controversy, Armaan Malik said in an interview, “I think as a family we have gotten closer than ever before. The past few months have been tough, but all of that is behind us.”

Armaan recently defended him after a netizen accused Amaal of being jealous of his brother’s success. He called Amaal the ‘most selfless’ person he knows, saying that he has quietly made sacrifices for Armaan’s success.

Meanwhile, Armaan Malik released his brother Amaal Mallik’s new song while the latter is currently inside the Bigg Boss 19 house. The track, sung and composed by Amaal, is titled Kyun Mujhse Door Tha.
