Sara Khan, an actress and former Bigg Boss competitor, married actor-producer Krish Pathak in a court ceremony on October 6, after a year of dating. Sara was previously married to actor Ali Merchant, but their marriage ended after a year in 2011.

Krish has appeared in several productions, including POW: Bandi Yuddh Ke and Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar. He is the son of Sunil Lahri, a prominent actor. Lahri played Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan.

However, Lahri parted from his wife, and Krish was apparently nurtured solely by his mother. Krish previously told the ETimes that he was only nine months old when his parents split up.

Sara told Bombay Times that she had felt like Krish's wife since they started living together, but actually registering their marriage was a very different feeling. "I had goosebumps and butterflies in my stomach. He is everything I have wished for in a partner. I guess when you wait patiently, the right person comes along. I feel like our connection is beyond this lifetime," added the Bidaai actress.

The actress also revealed that their court marriage was intimate, but they intend to have a large wedding in December.

Sara discussed their love story, revealing that she met Krish on a dating app a year ago. When she saw his photograph, she felt a sense of kinship. They soon started chatting and met the next day, during which she informed him straight away that she wasn't looking for something casual and wanted to settle down.

Krish, who defined their love story as a true Gen-Z romance, revealed that both of them were recovering from heartbreaks and stated that he never regarded himself as the marrying type because he was reared by a single mother and did not grow up with the idea of marriage.
