Tanvi Kolte was born on February 7, 1998, in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra and as of 2026, she is 28 years old. She gained recognition for her outspoken personality and confident gameplay.
Tanvi completed her schooling in Ratnagiri before moving to Pune for higher education and she earned a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Sinhagad Institute of Technology & Science, Pune.
Before entering reality television, Tanvi built her career through modeling and television appearances and she also gained recognition through beauty pageants.
She started her modelling career at an early age and has won titles like Miss Ratnagiri 2018 and Miss Goa 2020. She shifted her interest in making content on social media.
Before Bigg Boss Marathi 6, Tanvi Kolte played the role of Sinchana in an ongoing Marathi TV show, Lakshmi Niwas. She quit the show to participate in the reality show.
During the show, she earned the nickname “Dhakkad Girl” for her fearless approach and strong opinions.
After lifting the trophy, Tanvi opened up about what the show truly means to her, and her words reflect a journey of persistence, struggle and finally, recognition.
She said, "I wanted people to know me. Bigg Boss has given me the identity. I had done TV shows and movies before but nobody knew me.. Bigg Boss was the right platform for me to shine.
Tanvi Kolte has won the Riteish Deshmukh-hosted show by defeating Raqesh Bapat in the finale. The Marathi actress won a Rs 15 lakh cash prize and a winner’s trophy. She was also awarded an electric scooter and a diamond jewellery voucher worth Rs 10 lakh.
Tanvi shared a close bond with Raqesh Bapat in the show, whom she considered elder brother. She thanked Raqesh for always being there for her in the house after winning. To note, Raqesh emerged as first runner-up.
During her stay in the house, Tanvi opened up about her father’s demise and personal struggles after that.
The grand finale saw special appearances by Abhishek Bachchan and Genelia Deshmukh, who joined the stage to promote their upcoming Marathi film, Raja Shivaji.
