Recently, Steel Strength Productions LLP and Media World Ventures Limited announced the launch of Strongest Indian — India’s first television strength reality show

Recently, Steel Strength Productions LLP and Media World Ventures Limited announced the launch of Strongest Indian - India's first television strength reality show. The winner of the show will represent India at the World Strongman Federation - World Cup 2015 competition. The winner will be awarded cash price of '5,00,000. The competition is open to all fitness enthusiasts.

The format of the show is conceptualised by Kaizzad Capadia, co-founder and director of K11 Fitness Academy, and celebrity fitness expert. Also, Capadia will personally train the winner for the international competition along with mentors who are ex-Strongman winners.

Capadia reveals, "We are excited to initiate this competition. A championship of this stature will exhibit India's best strength professionals." Auditions in 16 cities will be held at YFC Gyms, from August 2015, while Calangute beach, Goa, will host the grand finale in September 2015.

Strongest Indian is a joint IP between Steel Strength Productions LLP and Media World Ventures Limited. Steel Strength Productions LLP is a company formed by K11 Fitness Private Limited - India's leading fitness academy, Neulife - India's no 1 Sports Nutrition Company and YFC - fastest growing chain of gyms in India. Media World Ventures Limited, an integrated media and entertainment company having all services in-house, is the official marketing and production partner for the show. The show is also partnered by Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.

Neulife will be promoting the show across their retail outlets and online stores along with a social media campaign to engage audience.

Neulife will also offer complementary sports nutrition for the winners for a year while participants get special offer on the purchase of Neulife products.

Samit Gupta, CEO and Managing Director, Neulife Nutrition Systems is happy with the development, "We are expecting at least 5,000 participants, and wish to double the number the next year. We hope to break the Guinness Book World Records in the strength segment."

Rizwan Sayed, founder-director of YFC Gyms, said, "We are excited to invite the winner of the World Strongman Federation for our show. He will conduct workshops and seminars for contestants and will also motivate them. Fitness awareness is gaining momentum; I notice that in my gyms men and women have become more fitness conscious. The YFC team will handle auditions across India."

Speaking about marketing and promotional initiatives, Purabee Jhaveri, co-founder and managing director, Media World Ventures Limited adds, "We have planned for an innovative integrated media and marketing promotion across India; with a large focus on digital marketing and on-ground activations to reach audiences." The show will be telecasted on NDTV Good Times and a leading Hindi news channel. Webisodes of the finale with uncut footage will be seen on their YouTube platform.
