Fathers accompanying their daughters, mothers tagging along with their sons and their friends -- all dressed in black, or white, or sporting blue printed bandanas - felt like a tribe as their hands went up in the air in unison.

You know Gen-Z had arrived to watch Travis Scott because they know how to make a statement - with style or singing their hearts out to the American rapper's music - and this was all before the concert.

So imagine when it started - there was a loud roar. India's youth dressed in the latest American fashion that not only include black singlets, tops and leather pants, but also basketball jerseys, sang in unison to not just 'FE!N' but every other song too.

Travis Scott took Mumbai by storm with the 'Circus Maximus World Tour' transforming Mahalaxmi Racecourse into a pulsating arena of sound, light and Gen-Z energy.

The Grammy-nominated artist's India leg of the tour is produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, kicked off with a high-octane opening set by Canadian rapper and singer, NAV who set the tone for the night with his signature energy and chart-topping mixes. Spinning viral anthems like ‘Lemonade', he had the crowd on their feet long before Travis Scott took the stage.

After immersive performances in Delhi on October 18 and 19, many fans were looking forward to the November performance, even though it was after a month that he first performed in the country.

From the very first beat of ‘Hyena' the venue buzzed with electricity as tens of thousands of fans erupted in a unified roar of excitement when Travis Scott stormed the stage.

Cinematic visuals, larger than life production, bone-rattling bass and immersive storytelling pulled the audience deep into the electrifying performance.

From smoke, pyrotechnics and vibrant lights perfectly synchronised with the music, creating a truly immersive, almost psychedelic atmosphere to massive fire rockets and towering flames to sweeping cinematic lighting, the Circus Maximus World tour experience in Mumbai channelled the raw intensity that Travis Scott is known for globally.

The Gen-Z fans along with every kind even spontaneously created mosh pits, while also singing their hearts out across the ground as they rapped every lyric in unison.

Travis delivered a power-packed setlist that spanned his biggest global hits including ‘Sicko Mode', ‘Goosebumps' and ‘FE!N', which he played not once but four times. He also played ‘Highest In The Room', ‘Butterfly Effect', ‘Antidote' along with fan-favourites from ‘Utopia' and many more.

Travis turned the night into pure mayhem when he pulled four ecstatic fans up on stage, huddling with them as the crowd lost its mind as ‘Smoke Some Drink Some Pop One' and ‘Night Crawler' blasted through the venue. One held up a "Stormi for President 2040" poster, while another showed up in a full sherwani, proudly keeping Delhi's Travis-wali Diwali spirit alive.

Mumbai went absolutely wild when Travis shouted, "We in Mumbai and this shit already lit! It's time for you all to rep for the whole of India right here."

During ‘Mamacita', the arena transformed into a sea of glowing phone lights, a breathtaking moment of unity that perfectly encapsulated the connection between the artist and his fans.
