Animatronics, which is the use of mechatronics to create machines which seem animate rather than robotic is now set to create a fan following in the city with the launch of the Hoopla Zone. The destination is replete with animatronic creations that aim to offer a fun jungle safari experience.

The Hoopla Zone offers children the experience of a real jungle by displaying life-like replicas of the animals which move and make sounds. So, be it playing in the sand with the camel or shaking hands with the penguins in the snow-capped region, children can do all that and much more.

"We want to encourage the development of the emotional quotient in children, and over a period of time introduce more games for them that aim at enhancing the nine senses. It is not just fun, but also helps in the development of emotional, cognitive, linguistic and social skills," says Shripal Morakhia, chairman of Smaaash that houses The Hoopla Zone.
