From the instant Morello stepped on stage, the amplifier roaring to life, the atmosphere transformed into one of anticipation and defiance. The opening riffs cut through igniting the crowd

The night saw Tom bring his son Roman to perform ‘Soldier In The Army of Love’ with him, apart from riff-heavy anthems like ‘One Last Dance’

Morello also performed Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘Mr. Crowley’ sharing with the audience that Osbourne inspired his generation and the next, while looking at his son

The setlist spanned the breadth of Morello’s storied career, featuring Rage Against the Machine anthems such as ‘Killing in the Name’, ‘Bulls on Parade’, ‘Bombtrack’ and ‘Know Your Enemy’, alongside evocative tracks from his solo project The Nightwatchman, also covering Bruce Springsteen’s ‘The Ghost of Tom Joad’. ‘Hold The Line, ‘The Road I Must Travel’

In a deeply moving tribute, Morello left the microphone for two songs, paying homage to his dear friend and Audioslave bandmate, Chris Cornell because he wanted Chris’ spirit to fill the space, linger in the air and echo through the audience
