Charge your phone, find a couch and buckle up, Jason Lewis has got you the five best mobile games of this season, to play on your phone

South Park Phone Destroyer
The last two South Park games on the consoles were good. Taking a page out of those, the developers, Ubisoft, have launched the South Park Phone Destroyer. The game lets you control characters from South Park, complete with their fantasy get-ups and powers. The action in the game is real-time unlike the turn-based console games, making the levels more fluid and fast paced.

The game is addictive and every stage is meticulously crafted for an authentic experience of the TV show. Similar to the console game, you play the role of the new kid, but instead of interacting with others socially, you use your phone to tell everyone what to do. The players you control, have powers, specific weapon and character types. For a free game, this one will have you hooked for a very long time.

Shadow Fight 3
This is a good one-on-one fighter that lets you create a character and then play the various stages through the campaign. There are a bunch of weapons, abilities and armour up for grabs, but you have to unlock cards that you win after each campaign. Your character also upgrades itself at each level and that increases your chance at discovering rare items. Shadow Fight 3 involves a lot of grinding till you reach the correct level to defeat your next opponent in the campaign.

You can, of course, jump in and see what happens - we did manage to beat an extremely tough opponent through sheer luck. If you don't want to play the main campaign there are side quests, which renew every few hours. While it is a freemium, the game doesn't make it too hard for the regular player to jump in and succeed, you will just be doing it really slow.

Reckless Getaway 2
If you like playing cops and robbers. you will love Reckless Getaway 2. The game has only one main objective - stay on the run as long as possible. While in more polished games like Need For Speed and GTA it maybe be easier, the rudimentary controls in this game make it a huge challenge. The longer you stay on the run, the more points and stars you accumulate. Collecting coins lets you get new cars, which include everything from race cars, to ambulances and monster trucks. You can also combat the cops that are hot on your tail by picking up a variety of power-ups scattered all over the map. There are several quests that can be completed for more coins. For a game that has only right and left buttons as controls, Reckless Getaway 2 packs in a lot of content and variety.

N.O.V.A. Legacy
This is perhaps the most famous game on this list. The controls for a FPS are as simple as it could have been considering the limitations of the smartphone. It features heavy graphics and a campaign that will introduce you to the basics of playing the game. You play a veteran Kal Wardin, who has been summoned once again to wipe out invading aliens. You can customise how your player looks and also upgrade your battle suit and craft weapons. N.O.V.A. Legacy also features death cam, which replays any spectacular battle moment from a third person's perspective - a refreshing change when you are stuck constantly playing the first-person view. The true genius of N.O.V.A. is the team death match 4-Vs-4, where huge eight-player groups can play against each other in online death matches across a variety of maps. You can also create your own private game by password protecting the session.

Into the Dead 2
This is the latest version of the zombie game that gives you a first-person perspective of what it feels like to run away during a zombie infestation. It features high quality graphics and over 60 stages with decent storyline and multiple endings. There are several kinds of zombies - some walk and run, while others just suddenly appear out of nowhere. You are given weapons to defend yourself, but they have limited ammo. You can also craft weapons and while they are useful, the scarcity of ammo will constantly keep you at the edge of your seat. The game also lets you have a canine companion that will help you fend of the undead. The stages in the game get hard, but, it is also freemium, so spending a few bucks can get you pretty far, easily.
