How, where and when did you learn all that super deejaying?
I started learning piano when I was six years old, and learnt it for 10 years, before moving to jazz studies. I'm a real computer guyu2026 my father used to teach me some tricks about computer, so producing music was the best way to mix with my computer and also learn up some tunes. I started producing electronic music at the age of 16, and moved to Paris at the age of 20 in order to try my hand and getting better recognition. Antoine Clamaran, one of the biggest tribal deejays and producer, appreciated my skills, so he decided to push me up in 2005. That was the beginning of my career.
Had you ever played in Delhi before? If yes, how was your experience?
No, never, it was my first time in Delhi, in fact in India, and I can't tell you how excited I still am, about the whole thing!
Inspirations behind your naughty numbers?
I come from France, and lots of French producers influenced me such as: Daft Punk, Alan Braxe to name a few. I also admire some in the English scene, such as Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx. Today, of course, my influences are a mix of Swedish Eric Prydzs, Axwell, Steve Angello and southern Abel Ramos, David Tort, Antoine Clamaran et al.
What do you like most about our country?
I just love everything in India, because it brings me surprise everyday. I like the people very nice, the clubbers really crazy and open to new sound. Also, one thing I'm totally in love with, is the chicken tikka it rocks!
Your current favourites, please.
Among artists, they are Axwell, Abel Ramos, David Tort, Antoine Clamaran, and for sure my French friends Norman Doray, Arno Cost and Arias.
What are your future plans?
I have lots of things to do. First thing is to work on my International radio show; I and my managers have planned for months now. This show will be on air from next month most probably. Then, I will continue to produce music for dance floor, remix for great artists, and finally play in new countries like Brazil or Australia.
If not a deejay, what would you have been?
Being a deejay is my dream, and it's the best work I could've ever imagined. If I were not a deejay, I would still try to find some work in the music field.
