The utility of this trend is diverse. It works for every outfit - from an anarkali kurta to a gown, the length of cut will depend on your body type. Several stores and online portals in India are stocking asymmetric tops, especially in sheer chiffon or georgette; you'll spot them on Bandra's Hill Road ('200, for a polka dotted variant) and on heady Colaba Causeway.

Skip your regular anarkali suit for a wedding and add fun to it by an asymmetric hem, with just a little churidar visible from the front. Kurtis for day-to-day wear can sport this trend too, but skip the gaudy lace on the edge. If you're hitting the beach, wear a maxi dress, showing of stylish gladiator sandals with a high front hem; it works great as a sarong too.
For a bohemian stamp (especially if Sunburn in Goa is on your radar) wear a delicate pleated skirt with chunky boyish boots. For daily wear, opt for sheer loose blouses, but only with skinny jeans or jeggings to look sharp and not out of the bed. You can make one on your own by cutting the hem of an old loose tee, sport it with a neon ganjee beneath.
