Mumbai Doggos Day is a one-of-a-kind experience where pooches get to meet and make new friends and participate in different activities

Last month, animal lover Lavina Tandon and her darlings Bling, a chihuahua, and Junior, a dachshund, had some serious bliss time at a dog party. That's why, she isn't going to miss it for anything today. "My babies and I loved the party. Being with so many four-legged friends is like heaven on earth," says the 26-year-old actor.

Mumbai Doggos Day is a one-of-a-kind experience where pooches get to meet and make new friends and participate in different activities. "The doggy party is centered on strengthening the bond between the dogs and their parents through fun games and a doggy buffet, especially curated for the four-legged. We will be serving sausages, eggs, rice, mashed potatoes and ice creams for them and an extra beer on the house for the parents. Anyone who loves pets are welcome to the party, even if they aren't dog parents," says Aashna Jain, director operations, Pet Fed.

The monthly event is a step towards making pet-friendly life more accessible and will lead up to India's biggest pet festival, Pet Fed, which will be held on December 16 and 17 at MMRDA Grounds. "The idea behind Pet Fed is to give pets and pet parents a day, completely dedicated to them. We're usually so occupied with our everyday life that we're not able to give enough time to our pets. Pet Fed fulfils this very need of giving your pet the time they deserve," says Jain.
