Till today, the Arctic Circle remains one of the world's most distant and uncharted regions -- one where 'minus zero' gets a new meaning every winter.

But despite tough living conditions, it has been a centre for several expeditions.

Many of which were carefully preserved in the pages of the Canadian Geographic, the official magazine of the The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, which celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2009.

Bringing these stories back to life is The Accessible Arctic, a travelling photography exhibition that will present a series of stunning images from the North Pole.

From the Aurora over the Fish Creek, the world's largest omnivore; the Polar Bear surveying the horizon, or a dog team maneuvering its way through snow, to the flora and fauna of the North Pole in various seasons, this stunning photo exhibition, curated by the Canadian Museum of Nature will be showcased in Mumbai over five days, starting from July 3.
