Washington: The launch day sales of Samsung Galaxy S5 have reportedly surpassed that of Galaxy S4 by almost 30 percent.

While Samsung is yet to report its launch-day sales, sellouts in several markets around the world were recorded.
Meanwhile, ZDNet Korea claimed that it spoke with an unnamed Samsung representative who said that Galaxy S5 sales so far are in the millions, Cnet reported.
The report added that last year Samsung said that it sold more than 10 million Galaxy S4 smartphones to retailers and wireless operators less than a month after that handset''s debut.
