If leaks are to be believed, then the most exciting thing about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is the introduction of a new virtual assistant, Bixby.
Bixby, the new digital Artificial Intelligence assistant will be able to control all native applications installed in the Galaxy 8 device. Reports have suggested that Bixby will be able to make visual searches on the smartphone with the help of Optical Character Recognition tool. The camera app will have a separate button for Bixby that will allow Galaxy users access a search tool and find out towards which object the camera is pointed at. Bixby will also help to analyse texts and images on the smartphone.
Along with Bixby, Samsung galaxy 8 smartphone will also get a modified S Health application. The revamped app will be integrated with WebMD and will help users create their medical statistics, manage medical history, make video appointments with doctors, and find out nearby medical stores.
Leaks suggest that Galaxy S8 will feature a bigger screen as compared to the existing range of Galaxy smartphones. It is tipped to include a fingerprint sensor instead of the usual Home button. The phone is expected to be unveiled in March 29.
