With the launch of the two new models, all Suzuki vehicles are now BS-IV complaint
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. launched the updated models of the Let's and Hayate. Suzuki had recently updated the Gixxer and Access range of bikes with BS-IV compliant engines. With the Let's and Hayate, Suzuki's whole range of two wheelers is now BS-IV compliant.
The Hayate is a commuter motorcycle powered by a 113cc engine which produces 8.7PS @ 7500rpm and a peak torque of 9.3Nm @ 5000 rpm mated to a four-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. It is available in three colour schemes - Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Oort Grey and Glass Sparkle Black.

The Let's is a scooter powered by a 112.8cc motor which produces 8.5PS @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.8Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The scooter gets telescopic suspensions at the front, tubeless tyres for both the wheels, and weighs 98kg. It is available in four colour options - Matt Grey with Matt Black, Pearl Suzuki Blue with Matte Black, Pearl Mira Red with Matt Black and White.
Commenting on the launch, Mr Satoshi Uchida, managing director, SMIPL, said, "We are pleased to announce that all our products across segments are now updated and come only with BS-IV compliant engines. The New Let's is testimony to our endeavors in bringing to India the most eco-friendly riding solutions in line with the government regulations. We are confident that our products will retain a strong foothold in their respective segments."
The BS-IV compliant Let's and Hayate EP are priced at Rs 47,272 and Rs 52,754 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
