The organisers of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender promise that the second edition of the festival will be grand. While big acts like Basement Jaxx and Imogen Heap will undoubtedly be the largest draw for most junta, many will also be spending the weekend in Pune simply to soak in the vibe of the three-day music festival
With a lot more buzz this time around, the festival organisers have come up with ways to make the commute to the concert space easier.

Apart from the many gigs, concert-goers can also check out options that aren't music-related and have a well-rounded festival experience. The Guide highlights some of the changes introduced this year, as well things you can do when you aren't listening to some of your favourite bands:

'u00a0If trains and buses are packed, too slow or inconvenient, use the NH7 Weekender Carpool this year to get to Pune. Register on the website and get access to the carpool section via your Facebook account. This will help you make travel plans with anybody on your list who might be driving down.

'u00a0With this year's festival venue shifting from tourist-friendly Koregaon Park to the posh-but-faraway Magarpatta City, visitors from Mumbai may have a tough time getting there. To avoid roaming around in
circles or getting ripped off by Pune's infamous, unreasonable rickshaw drivers, one can avail of the Weekender shuttle. This bus service will ply at regular intervals from well-known spots such as Toons in Camp, Venus Traders on FC Road and High Spirits Cafe in Koregaon Park.

'u00a0Have your ticket but unsure of where to stay? Log on to www.chorush.com/nh7.html to book cheap hotel rooms/service apartments close to the venue.

'u00a0One of the most interesting features of this year's Weekender is Tattoo Republic, a first-of-its-kind international tattoo convention. This will have 45 booths, tattoo artists and designs from all over
the world, workshops and an art installation.

'u00a0The Flea Market and the Weekender Bazaar will be greener this year, featuring eco-friendly products such as T-shirts, jholas and the like.
