This week, the hill city of Lavasa, located near Pune is hosting host the Lavasa Utsav, an annual cultural festival, which is a melting pot for art, culture, dance and music.
The fest includes over 35 stalls showcasing creative works by various artists and NGO's, cutting across genres of art and culture. Tomorrow the events kick off with a fun photo shoot by Shiresh Karale at 11 am. This will be followed by a calligraphy workshop, art camp, photography and artisans exhibition.
The highlights of this nine-day fest, which concludes on November 21, includes performances by different artists including Joe and Shefali Alvares and, Anoushka Manchanda. Get lucky, spin the fortune wheel or get a mehendi artist to cover your hands and feet with some attractive designs.
