Bike manufacturers offer massive discounts on their stock clearance sale of BS-III bikes

With March 31, 2017, being the deadline for manufacturers to get rid of their BS-III stock, bike makers are offering huge discounts. These discounts are only for today and only when full payments are done in cash or via electronic transfer. here is a manufacturer-wise list of discounts




With the March, 31'st deadline looming in,
Hero MotoCorp, like most other bike makers is offering huge discounts to clear their BS-IIII stock. These offers are only applicable for today. Hero MotoCorp are offering a flat Rs 15,000 discount on the entire scooter range. 125cc bikes like the Hero Glamour and Super Splendor's prices have been slashed by Rs 12,500. The Xtreme Sport, Xtreme, Hunk, HF Dawn, all Passion variants, all HF Deluxe variants and all Splendor variants are being sold with a discount of Rs 10,000. While the Karizmas also were getting discounts, they have been sold out in most of the dealerships.

With just one day left for the BS-IV norm to come into effect, most manufacturers are scrabbling to get rid of all BS-III models in stock by offering massive discounts on them. Starting, tomorrow, both car and bike manufacturers are banned from selling BS-III vehicles.

The new BS-IV models replacing the BS-III ones will have low emission values and most of them will deliver similar power outputs.

Honda is offering heavy discounts on all their products in the two wheeler segment. The Activa 125, Activa-I and Aviator are being offered with a discount of Rs 18,500. The Navi, Unicorn, Unicorn 160, Shine, Shine SP, Dream Yuga, Dream Neo, Trigger, Livo and CD 110 are being offered at a discount of up to Rs 23,500. In some places, the Navi is being sold at Rs 25,000 (on road). Both the CBR 150 and CBR 250 are being offered at a discount of Rs 40,000. Some dealerships are also offering the Navi free on the purchase of the CBR 250 R. The offer is only valid till stocks last.

While Suzuki has already shifted all of its bikes to BS-IV, some dealerships still have some BS-III stock left over and they are offering a discount of Rs 5,000 on the BS-III Let's and Gixxer.

The Suzuki Let's is an 110cc scooter that costs Rs 52,685 (on-road, Delhi) which after discount comes to Rs 47,500. The Gixxer starts at Rs 87,032 (on-road, Delhi) and with the offer now costs Rs 82,000.

TVS Motors-

TVS dealerships across the country are offering discounts from Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000 on BS-III models. In Delhi, dealerships are offering a flat Rs 5,000 discount on all TVS bikes and scooters. Some dealerships in Chennai are offering a discount of up to Rs 15,000 on the Apache RTR 200 along with free insurance. The Victor receives a discount of Rs 12,000 with free insurance. Other bikes get Rs 8,000 discounts with free insurance. Some dealerships in Gujarat are offering up to 30 percent discounts on the ex-showroom price. Some dealerships in Pune are offering a flat Rs 10,000 discount on all its products.

Bajaj Auto-
Bajaj Auto was one of the first manufacturers to switch all their bikes from BS-III to BS-IV so the possibility of Bajaj Dealerships having BS-III models in stock are few and far in between.

Bajaj Auto has announced discounts up to Rs 12,000 on select BS-III motorcycles in its range. The Pulsar RS 200 is being offered with a Rs 12,000 discount. The resto of Pulsar range gets a discount of up to Rs 7,000. The Avenger range gets a Rs 7,000 discount while the V15, Platina and Discover range attracts a discount of Rs 5,000. The CT100 can be availed with a discount of Rs 3,000.
