Don't let trends for 2014 baffle you as we create a style guide for you, to dress according to your work, and look fab even while sweating it out

There's no doubt that when it comes to formal dressing, there aren't many options for men. The key lies in letting one element of your outfit do the talking. Go back in time and experiment with high waists if you have a torso to flaunt; you can also opt for for bolder checks. Add fun to your otherwise predictable wardrobe with a colourful bag. We love this old-school orange briefcase that brightens things up.

Those working in the creative field are blessed with no restrictions on workwear. Ironically, adding a few formal wear pieces such as this tan leather sling and geeky glasses make casual wear more fun. Graphic prints have now traversed from women's wear to men's wear and they are best paired with solid-coloured apparel. And, if you have the guts, try and pull off printed pants with plain tees. If not, go wild with your footwear choices.

Sushant Divgikar, VJ

For those who dare to not care, now is a great time to follow fashion. Almost all big labels have borrowed from women's wear and have created lines that spell style, confidence to pull tricky things off and manly at the same time. Think floral prints (Lionel Messi wore a floral blazer to collect his Golden Shoe Award), sheer shirts, pop prints, and pastels. We clashed this star-printed shirt with a chequered bag and slipped on red shoes too, all of which Sushant pulls off with élan. Did we mention, the dull lavender jeans are from the women's section?!
