Jayshree Krishnan and Anita Chandramohan, co-owners of theu00a0 Powai-based handicraft store, went on a trip to Rajasthan to meet and greet local artisans, who have been working (and in the process preserving) prints like Ajrakh, Bagru, Dabu, Ikat, etc.
Now, back in the city with a whole load of information and even more fabrics that sport these traditional prints, Anita and Jayshree are hosting a special exhibition to make the products available to those who cannot trek all the way to Powai.
Also available at the exhibition applique work, Kota and hand-painted Kalamkari material, embroidered bags, stoles and accessories.
