If recent reports are to be believed, then Cupertino tech giant Apple will apparently start production on the iPhone 8 earlier than expected.

Since 2017 would mark the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone launch, there is a strong possibility that Apple will ramp up the production of iPhone 8 and start the supply chain by June.

Apple is currently believed to be working on 3 iPhone 8 models, the biggest of which is a 5.8-inch one, along with a regular regular 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch version. The aluminium back cover will reportedly be ditched in favour of a "glass sandwich" design. The biggest iPhone 8 version will possess a "wraparound" design with Touch ID under the glass along with an OLED display, which will be introduced.

Among other things the iPhone 8 will feature a bezel-less design, facial recognition, a never before seen wireless charging technology, which will come with a receiver inside the phone. The device will charge wireless as long as it is within 15ft of the transmitter.

Regarding the Apple iPhone 8 being launched earlier than usual, information based on quotes by John Donovan and Steve Mullane from BlueFin Research Partners seem to indicate to the possibility. They have told Barron's Tech Trader Dailay that, "The most intriguing data points that we have uncovered suggests that AAPL is ramping the next generation iPhones earlier than historical norms, although we have no indication that there has been any change in release plans for the iPhone 8/X."
