'My guy is not ready to commit'

He is 33. We meet on weekends as we are busy with our jobs. He is caring and loving. I once mustered enough courage to ask him about his feelings for me. He refused to give an answer. He laughed it off. I'm confused about him. Is he interested in me or not? Why is he so commitment phobic?

Dear Saina,
This guy does not want to commit. Considering that he is 33 and with a secure job, it beats me why he is dilly-dallying. Unless there is someone else on the scene and you are unaware of it. This guy may be just having fun and does not want to take the relationship to the next level. Considering that you both are mature and 30 plus, you need to talk it out with him. If he has no inclination in being serious about you, it is better to move on.
