Can he be your mate and date?

Men may be from Mars and women from Venus but somehow men and women find common ground to strike up a friendship, as reported in The Sun.

Whether it be kicking a ball in the park, reminiscing over a cup of coffee or hitting the tiles on a Saturday night, men and women throughout history have had their innocent fun.

But can you just be mates with a man or is sex always the order of the day when having fun with a fella?

Can you just be pals with the opposite sex?

WondaWoman has a wonder man as her best pal. "My best mate is a bloke and has been since I was fifteen and I wouldn't have it any other way." as reported in The Sun.

Goagirl finds a great pal in her gay friend.

"My best friend is a gay guy. We have a fantastic friendship because there is absolutely nothing physical about it whatsoever, apart from the odd platonic hug and kiss.

Crossing the line could have cost Henriette3 her friendship. "Once long ago it was very close I had sex with a friend. We both knew if we had sex then our friendship would be gone and we could not get it back."

liselotte1 got both a friendship and a marriage with her man. "I married my best friend 15 years ago and he still is my best friend, just not only that of course."

But not all of MY Sun are convinced that just friendship is on a man or woman's mind.

Falling for a friend is the usual scenario reckons Lewbe22. "I always find that if I get along with a girl and like them as a person I naturally start to fancy them. I have been attracted to women who I would not normally find attractive."
