Valley of Flowers- Kaas Plateau
It's that time of the year when the 1,000-hectare Kaas Plateau in Satara, Maharashtra, will see an exotic variety of wild flowers in full bloom. More than 850 species of flowering plants are found here. This one-day trip, organised by Bluebulb, will comprise a walk around the plateau with a botanist, a scenic drive through the forest and an exploration of the valley.

Trek to Ratangad
Mumbai Travellers has organised a trek to Ratangad, a hill fort near Ratan Wadi, overlooking one of the oldest artificial catchment areas. The fort is about 2,000 years old. Ratangad has a natural rock peak with a cavity in it at the top, which is called Nedhe or Eye of the Needle. The journey will start from CST towards Kasara by last local train by 00:10 am.
