Papercuts are literally a way of life for Pooja Ajmera, the 29-year-old visual storyteller who creates papercut wall art frames from single sheets of archival paper using a blade.

Ajmera boasts of degrees in travel and tourism management and an MBA, but her heart beats for papercuts, which she discovered recently. The self-trained artist made the first one in 2012 and it's how her brand Teekhii Chhurii came into existence.

Her designs can be customised and each design is hand-cut and not replicated. She is open to designing papercuts for house warming parties, weddings, anniversaries, as well as for people who want papercut pictures, family trees or story boards.
