Zeeshan Siddique, son of former MLA and Congress leader Baba Siddique is one of the youngest leaders to contest this year's assembly elections. He is currently the 1st General Secretary of Mumbai Pradesh Youth Congress. Zeeshan is a member of the Indian National Congress Party.

Zeeshan Siddique will be contesting the Maharashtra Assembly Elections from the Bandra East constituency as a Congress candidate. Zeeshan was born to former Bandra West MLA and Congress leader Baba Siddique and his wife Shehzeen Siddique. Zeeshan also has a sister, Arshia Siddique who is a doctor by profession.

Zeeshan Siddique, who recently turned 27 this month, describes himself on Instagram as the '1st General Secretary of the Mumbai Pradesh Youth Congress' and a person who has a 'Masters in Global Management & Public Leadership'.

After the Congress party released its list of candidates for the Assembly Election, Zeeshan Siddique took to Instagram to extend his wishes to the party heads for imposing their faith in him. Zeeshan also informed his followers that he will be contesting the assembly polls as a candidate from Bandra East after the official release of candidates list by the Congress party.

A few days later, on his 27th birthday, Zeeshan Siddique filed his nomination as Congress candidate from the Bandra East constituency. While filing his nomination, Zeeshan was accompanied by his father Baba Siddique and former MP Priya Dutt.

Zeeshan Siddique has been born and brought up in Bandra, Mumbai. The 27-year-old has a Masters in Global Management & Public Leadership from Regent's University, London, United Kingdom. For the upcoming Assembly Elections, Zeeshan Siddique will be contesting against Shiv Sena's Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, who is currently serving as the Mayor of Mumbai. 

While this is Zeeshan Siddique's first elections ever, his father, Baba Siddique has served the Bandra West constituency as an MLA in the past. Zeeshan's father was the Bandra West constituency MLA for three consecutive terms in 1999, 2004 and 2009. In the 2014 Assembly Elections, Bab Siddique was defeated by BJP leader Ashish Shelar.

Zeeshan Siddique has been active in politics from an early age. The 27-year-old Congress youth leader who was elected to the party's youth wing was also seen campaigning for former MP Priya Dutt during the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.
