Set out on a 12-hour-long food tour to sample the many veggie culinary delights Mumbai has to offer

There will be a snack stop at Pack-a-Pav

Have you had one of those days when you've wanted to do nothing but eat all day? Then this food tour is for you. This weekend, hop on a bus with the guys from Good Food Tourism, a two-month-old start-up. Their upcoming tour, which covers eateries right from Bandra to the south of Mumbai, will be the first in a series of food tours in the city with a difference.

"Everyone associates this city with vada pao and pav bhaji. We're trying to go beyond that and show you the variety that some of the newer entrants have to offer," says co-founder Siddharth Majgaonkar.

The group will have lunch at Bombay Vintage

The 12-hour tour begins at 8 am, and the first food stop is Eat Around The Corner, where everyone gets to tuck into a hearty breakfast. "There will be pancakes, crostini, fresh fruits and coffee. From there, we will move on to Wow Popcorn, where we will try three unusual popcorn flavours," says Majgaonkar.

This will be followed by a surprise activity, which, according to the founders, may involve exploring a bustling market, or visiting an ancient temple. The fun then shifts to South Mumbai, where a singer will serenade you with an acoustic guitar as you have lunch at Bombay Vintage in Colaba.

"Next, we'll head to Bomberry in Kemps Corner, which is known for its fruit creams, then try another surprise activity," adds Majgaonkar. The group will then head to Kathi Kabab Roll, Lower Parel, followed by Pack-a-Pav, Bandra. The tour ends at Raasta, where everyone can let their hair down for a bit before calling it a day.
