Amarnath Yatra Second batch of pilgrims leaves from Jammu

The second batch of 1507 devotees left Jammu for the annual Amarnath pilgrimage in the wee hours of Thursday. Thousands of pilgrims undertake the Amarnath Yatra to the shrine cave to worship an ice stalagmite called Shivlinga, believed to be the symbol of Lord Shiva, the god of destruction and regeneration.
