Ajay Kumar (19), a resident of Rajasthan's Bharatpur district, was arrested from Sohna area for raping his cousin on Monday evening.
He was taken into custody within hours of the incident. Sohna Station House Officer Anil Kumar said the accused was presented before Judicial Magistrate Sukhpreet Singh yesterday and remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.
Kumar was booked for rape under the penal provisions and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences law based on the complaint filed by the victim's father. u00a0
