In a joint operation involving multiple police agencies, drugs worth Rs 28 lakh were recovered from a farmhouse in Palghar district.
The Palghar Police, Wada police along with Gujarat's Ahmedabad ATS squad carried out a joint raid and recovered around 550 kgs of mandrax from the farmhouse.
Chemicals and equipment used for making the drugs were also recovered.
The superintendent of Palghar Police supervised the operation, sources said
Police have detained the farmhouse owner Vivek Rajaram Kubul and one more person for questioning.
