Jeweller shot dead in UP

Azamgarh (UP): A jeweller was shot dead by some unidentified persons in Mahrajganj area here, police said today.

Rakesh Jaiswal (30) was killed when he was returning home after closing shop last night and his bag containing ornaments and cash was looted by the culprits, they said.

Jaiswal died on the spot. The police has launched a manhunt to nab the assailants and are trying to ascertain the exact amount looted by them.
