UP: 26-year-old woman gangraped

Muzaffarnagar: A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by three persons in Shamli area here, police said today.

A case was registered yesterday by the husband of the victim against Saleem, Abid and Bhura, police said, adding, Saleem has been arrested.

The incident took place in February 2014 and an obscene video was made of the act which the three accused used to blackmail her, preventing her from disclosing it to anyone, police said.

The victim had told about the incident to her family but following repeated blackmail by the accused she told her husband, police said.
