Why did you choose Lok Bharti?
During the Lok Sabha polls, many parties invited me and even offered a ministerial post, but I chose Lok Bharti, as I saw their work in the field of education. It moved me. When politicians are entering my field, why can't I enter theirs?
Who do you think will vote for you?
The common man, who wants me to contest from this area, will vote for me. I am not limited to any particular vote bank. I'm sure people who want change will vote for me.

What are your poll promises?
By 2011, I'll change the face of Kanjur, Powai, Vikhroli and Bhandup. My main agendas are health, education and sports.
Via Khel Bharati [his sports academy] I will promote sports and encourage the underprivileged. My agenda is to promote all sports, from hockey to kabbadi.
Will you change your dressing style now?
I never change. My attitude will remain the same. During campaign I'll meet people in jeans and T-shirts. One doesn't have to wear white to be a politician.
Will you take the help of your cricketing friends, especially Sachin?
They are my friends and will campaign for me. I will ask Sachin to campaign for me. But even if he can't make it, his blessings are always with me.
